PARITAS RABUNG (balancing roof) is a concept driven by symmetrical patterns found in local ornaments. The balanced roof was developed not just figuratively but also literally. A giant wall cut through diagonally into the site driven by structural grids, automatically creates two zonations, the curb and the boarding area. Mirroring structures are erected on both zones with tilted large roof overhangs which are sliced by the diagonal walls to reform the building silhouette. As a result, the building mass conveys an effortless landmark on the exterior while maintaining different optical interior qualities for the users to perceive, which conclude the embodiment of Paritas Rabung.
